Internal Medicine at the New England
Deaconess Hospital in Boston, but
"saw the light" and did his residency in

cancer).
He has been in Maryland as

been an accreditation surveyor for
the American College of Radiology
(ACR), and since June, 2003, he has

committee on Radiation Oncology
accreditation. He is a member of
the ACR, ASTRO and ASCO, a
Fellow of the American College of
Radiology (FACR), and serves on

Society (Baltimore Division), and
the Jewish Hospice of Baltimore.
He lives in Lutherville, Maryland,
with his wife Jean (a pediatric nurse
practitioner by training, but now an
assistant music librarian at the
Baltimore Symphony Orchestra).
He has two children, Nathan (who
will enter college in the fall of 2004 and plans to be the 6th Brenner in
medicine), and Julia (who has
absolutely no interest in medicine).
He is a member of the American College of Radiation
