Dr.Christopher T. Chen, M.D., is board-certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia. He performed his intership in Internal Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr.Chen completed his residency and was named Chief Resident of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr.Chen holds membership in a variety of national professional societies, including the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American College of Radiation Oncology, Radiological Society of North American, and American College of Radiology.
Dr.Chen has been actively involved in both clinical and basic science cancer research as well as patient care.
He has contributed to numerous abstracts and journal publications on radiation therapy and novel cancer treatments. He has been invited to present this data at a number of national and international meetings. Additionally, he has authored several textbooks chapters in the field.
