Patrick
M. Francke, M.D., Board Certified in Radiation Oncology,
received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with honors
from Western Kentucky University. He received his medical
degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine
in Louisville, Kentucky.
Following an internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis,
Indiana, he completed his residency in Radiation Oncology
at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington,
Kentucky where he was Chief Resident.
He was then invited to stay on as faculty at the University
of Kentucky Department of Radiation Oncology. While he served
as Assistant Professor, he was active in clinical research
and teaching residents and medical students.
He has published and lectured on many different topics,
including Gynecologic Oncology, Lung Cancer and Brachytherapy.
He is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology
and Oncology, American Brachytherapy Society, Florida Medical
Association and Broward County Medical Society. He is also
actively involved in the American Cancer Society.
He is a member of the American College of Radiation
Oncology (ACRO).
