Manoj
Jain, M.D., is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist.
He received his college degree in Electrical Engineering,
Magna Cum Laude, from the City University of New York.
Dr. Jain pursued a career in medicine by attending New
York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
After
medical school, he completed a year of internship in
Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital in
Columbus, Ohio. After completing internship, Dr.Jain
joined the Radiation Oncology residency program at Mount
Sinai
Hospital, he trained with State-of-the-Art technology,
with an emphasis on prostate brachytherapy.
During
his residency, Dr.Jain served as Chief Resident in the
department of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai. He was
involved in research which addressed the issue of toxicity
from radiation therapy for prostate cancer. The results
of his were presented at the annual meeting of the American
Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology in Salt
Lake City, Utah in 2003.
Dr.Jain
has helped to launch the brand new Radiation Oncology
Department at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford,
Delaware. He is also dedicated to serving the communities
of Worcester and Wicomico Counties. He has increased
awareness of cancer-related issues by personally becoming
involved in the local "Man to Man" group and the Wellness
Center and local Breast Center support group.
