Dr. Matthews obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester School of Nursing, Rochester, NY. She earned her Medical Degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine (now Drexel University School of Medicine), where she was selected to the national medical honor society, Alpha
Omega Alpha.
She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. She joined 21st Century Oncology after completing her Radiation Oncology training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD, where she served as Chief Resident during her senior year.
Dr. Matthews has a long-time love of providing
excellent, personalized care to her patients, as well as a strong interest in women’s health. Her personal clinical interests lies in the management of breast and gynecological cancers.
