Dr. Vinita Patanaphan

Dr. Patanaphan serves as the Medical Director of Riverside Oncology Center. She completed her residency in Radiation Therapy at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore and achieved Board Certification in Therapeutic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology in 1978. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Medical System and has played a part in educating many radiation oncologists. Dr Patanaphan has a special interest in both intracavitary and interstitial radioactive implants. Throughout her career she has published more than forty articles and abstracts and has presented at a number of national and international professional conferences.

Dr. Patanaphan is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology andOncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Radium Society.
