Susan
A. Reisinger, M.D., Board Certified in Therapeutic Radiology,
received a Bachelor of Science Degree, with Honors, Phi
Beta Kappa, from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA; and a
Medical Degree from Hahnemann University, Philadelphia,
PA, with a Certificate of Distinction in Surgery.
Following
an Internship in the Department of Surgery, Medical College
of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Dr. Reisinger performed a
Residency in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY. Following her
residency, she was appointed to the attending staff at Thomas
Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
During
her residency, Dr. Reisinger received the American Cancer
Society Clinical Fellowship Award. She has also received
the Travel Grant awarded by American Society for Therapeutic
Radiology and Oncology.
Dr.
Reisinger serves as a member of the Corpus and Radiation
Therapy committees of the Gynecologic Oncology Group. She
is a member of American Medical Association, American Society
for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, Radiation Research
Society, North American Hyperthermia Group and American
Cancer Society.
She
has published numerous articles in the field of Radiation
Oncology and has lectured throughout the United States on
Radiation Therapy for advanced endometrial carcinoma, benefits
of brachytherapy, and the role of Radiation Therapy in the
treatment of breast cancer and prostate cancer.
She is a member of the American College of Radiation
Oncology (ACRO).
