Dr.
Larry Silverman
Larry
N. Silverman, M.D. received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and
his medical degree from the University of Miami. He performed
his internal medicine internship at Miami's Jackson Memorial
Hospital. Dr. Silverman completed his Radiation Oncology
residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond,
where he also served as Chief Resident. In 1997, he received
the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award from RSNA (Radiological
Society of North America). Following his residency, he returned
to Jackson Memorial Hospital for a Fellowship in Radiation
Oncology.
Dr. Silverman is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by
the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American
Medical Association, and the American Society of Therapeutic
Radiology and Oncology.
He has published numerous scientific abstracts in the field
of radiation oncology and has presented his research findings
before national oncology conferences. Currently, Dr. Silverman
is involved in several research projects and publications
involving cancer treatment.
He is a member of the American College of Radiation
Oncology (ACRO).
