Charles
C. Thomas II, M.D. attended Wofford College, where he earned
his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry. He received
his medical degree from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine.
Dr. Thomas performed
his surgical internship at the Medical University of South
Carolina. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina
for his residency in Radiology. Dr.Thomas completed a fellowship
in Radiation Oncology at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Thomas went
on to be the Director of Radiation Oncology at Emory University
in Atlanta. He also held an academic appointment as an Assistant
Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at Duke University
Medical Center.
Dr. Thomas is
board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Diagnostic
Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He has
served on the board of the American Cancer Society at
both local and state levels and is a member
of the American Soceity for Therapeutic Radiology and
Oncology and the American
Medical Association.
He is a member of the American College of Radiation
Oncology (ACRO) and a Fellow in the American College of Radiation Oncology (FACRO).
