Dr. Warren Amos is Board Certified in
Radiation Oncology. He received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Micro-
biology from the University of Florida
and a medical degree from the University
of Miami, where he was selected to the
national honor society, Alpha Omega
Alpha.
Dr. Amos completed an Internship at
Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in
San Francisco where he was selected as
one of the Top 10 Interns. He completed
a Radiation Oncology Residency at the
University of Florida in 1994. He then
joined the Medical Center Clinic in
Pensacola, Florida, where he practiced
Radiation Oncology with his father, who
has since become an Assistant Professor
in the Radiation Oncology Department
at the University of Florida.
Dr. Amos is a member of the American
Cancer Society and has served as the
Medical Director and on the Board of
D He is a member of the American
College of Radiology and has been
selected as Chairman of the Radiation
Oncology Section of the state chapter,
the Florida Radiological Society ( FRS ).
He has also been the Director of the
Radiation Oncology Educational Program
for the FRS and has served on the Board
of Directors for the Medical Education
Council of Pensacola.
Dr.Amos is also a member of the American
Society for Therapeutic Radiology, the American College of Radiation Oncology,
the American Medical Association, Florida
Medical Association, and the Escambia
County Medical Association.
Dr. Amos has coauthored articles on Colon
cancer and Head and Neck cancer as well
as presented the results of numerous clinical
research projects on prostate carcinoma,
lung carcinoma, breast carcinoma, and
Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
