Dr.
Wing is a Florida native. He graduated on the honor roll
from Trinity Preparatory School, Orlando, Florida in 1983.
He was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and achieved
a 4.0 GPA from the University of Florida in Gainesville
where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.
He continued his education at the University of Miami School
of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree.
He received two years of residency training in Radiation
Oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New
Jersey where he distinguished himself by scoring in the
99th percentile on the American College of Radiology Resident
in Training examination. He was also awarded the Clinical
Oncology Research Award from the American Cancer Society
in 1994 for his work with oncogenes.
Dr.
Wing completed his residency training at Emory University
Hospitals and Clinics in Atlanta, Georgia where he was elected
Chief Resident and again distinguished himself nationally
be scoring 99th percentile on the American College of Radiology
Resident in Training Examination. Dr. Wing performed research
in breast cancer tumor markers while in Atlanta.
Dr.
Wing is now the Medical Director of Palms West Radiation
Therapy in the western communities of West Palm Beach. He
is certified in the specialty of Radiation Oncology by the
American Board of Radiology. He serves on the American Cancer
Society Executive Committee as Medical Advisor in Palm Beach
County.
