Dr. Ashraf Youssef graduated from the medical school of Ain Shams University in 1983. He received a Masters Degree in Head and Neck Surgery in 1990 from Cairo University.
Dr. Youssef Is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology in 1998 at New York Methodist Hospital followed by one year of fellowship in Brachytherapy.
He served as an Assistant Professor at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia during the period 1999-2002. He had an instrumental role in establishing the Prostate Seed Implant program using the real time intra-operative technique.
He became a consultant for Theragenics Corporation, and co-authored the fourth edition of the "Principles and Practice of Radiation Oncology" textbook.
He served as the Medical Director of Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and West Jersey Cancer Center for the "Fox Chase Cancer Program, at the Virtua Voorhees Center."
He was recently voted by his peers as one of the "Top Doc's" in Radiation Oncology, published in South Jersey Magazine 2005. He was also nominated as an advisor for the Research Board of the American Biographical Institute (ABI).
